Cairo, Memphis and Sakkara
DAY 1 – CAIRO
Arrival to Cairo airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
DAY 2 – CAIRO (Giza City And Pyramids)
Breakfast then we departure for a Full day starting with Giza to see the pyramids of Cheops (this pyramid is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world), Kefren and Menkaure (entrance to see the pyramids from inside is not included), as well as the sculpted Sphinx followed by a visit to the Papyrus Institute.
After lunch, we visit the Egyptian Museum with where the treasures of the tomb of king Tutankhamun is kept, with more than 2000 objects of great value (does not include the entrance to the room of the mummies). Finally, we go on a tour of in the great bazaar of khan el-khalili.
DAY 3 – C AIRO (Memphis and Sakkara)
Breakfast then departure to Memphis, the city is an architectural and cultural marvel with it is colossus of Ramses II and the Memphis Sphinx made of Alabaster. To the west of Memphis we can observe the Great Necropolis of Sakkara, one of the oldest royal necropolises. Also in Sakkara, we will visit, the unique stepped Pyramid of Djoser. After that we return to Cairo for Lunch with a free afternoon.
At night we will attend a dinner on a boat on the Nile River, to enjoy the folklore of this country and the famous belly dance show. Finally, accommodation.
DAY 4 – CAIRO
Breakfast, then we head to the airport to board the flight that will take you to your destination, marking the end of our service.
With Alexandria
DAY 4 – CAIRO (Alexandria)
Breakfast then departure towards the Mediterranean coast through the wadi-natrun valley to reach the legendary city of Alexandria. This city was founded by Alexander the Great and known for its great library, the largest in the world. The city was also known for its lighthouse, one the seven wonders of the ancient world, located on the island of Pharos.
Exploring the city will start by to the new Library of Alexandria inaugurated in 2003, after that we visit the Pompeian pillar, which is more than 25 m high, followed by Kom el-Shokafa Catacombs, the Roman cemetery with its unique mix of Pharaonic and Roman art. We will also sisit the Roman amphitheater, with 13 semicircular white of marble tiers. Finally, lunch in a seafood restaurant then we return to Cairo for accommodation.
DAY 5 – CAIRO
Breakfast. Free time until the time of transfer to Cairo airport to board your flight and end of our services.
